what a dud

we bought for a future retirement home in june 2014 lived in house on sat night and sunday morn so used to pop popcorn till june 2019 when we moved in full time used to reheat food only . Now the light doesn,t come on but once in a while and has finally quite. unplugged and replugged and worked for a week and has now stopped again cost of repairman to come out about 150.00 just to look and you discontinued it now. It was the megatron model

Great Microwave!

I replaced an LG that was only 3 yrs old with this Maytag microwave, what a difference it has made! Features are perfect, it vents without steaming my cupboards! Very pleased with this replacement. I have a Maytag dishwasher, washer and dryer and refrigerator so I should not be surprised by the quality of this product!

Beautiful microwave that matched our new kitchen remodel. Paid $300 last June 2017, so past the one year limited warranty and suddenly began the open/close door message that others have complained and will not work . Looked up consumer complaints and many others are having the same issue. I wish I would have looked up those reviews last year . It’s hard to believe a product would last one year . I tried calling customer support but was put on hold forever and had to hang up . Very disappointed in Maytag, I thought they were reputable. My Walmart microwaves had lasted 10 years !

Bought in 2014 door has issues it won’t start all the time. Sounds like someth8ng rattles In the door when you close it. Went to microwave something today and a white plastic piece fell in my food.i lookat the white rectangle at the top and its complex melted and now there’s a hole in it. Love the look of the microwave but this thing is a hunk of junk!
