I've had this range for 1 month and it is an excellent range. The burners respond well to a change in temperature, the controls are easy to use, and the oven is large and well lit. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the control panel is not easy to clean and always looks a bit smudged. Otherwise, it is a great range.

Once I narrowed down the features that I wanted in my range (size, stainless steel with some black, control knobs on the front, electric, convection oven with no exposed bottom boil, etc.), it was easy to pick this Whirlpool. The look is sleek and the "working" of the knobs provides a heavy and confident feel. I can fit any size pot on the wide variety of burners, and the heating is quick as well. I've read other reviews that complain about the stainless steel portions "peeling off", and I've only had my range for a short time so may comment on that later - if it happens.

Replaced a Jenn-air and very glad I did. New stove works fine, controls are intuitive.

Wow, has this thing been a disaster. Do not buy. The trim piece started peeling just about a month or two after we bought it. I called whirlpool and they said it was cosmetic which is only a 30 day warranty. So I left a bad review on the site I bought from. Then whirlpool contacted me and said they'd love to help out. Well I wasted another 15 minutes on phone because the told me that I cleaned the material with wrong product and should have just used mild detergent because it's plastic. Well how would anyone know it's plastic? it looks just like the rest of the stainless steel. Terrible product, terrible customer service.

Overall, a good cooktop and range but greatly disappointed with how well the silver paint held up around the front panel. It's only been a year and the silver paint is coming off all around the front. For the price, I expected more quality from this product.
