we purchased this four years ago and got the extended three year warranty. about a year after we bought it, it started leaking water at the corner of the deli drawer. twice we had this fixed. it was covered under the warranty. it has started doing the same thing-the repairman told us it was a common problem with this model . of course, now we have to have it fixed again at our own expense. it leaks so much it spills onto the floor. we are concerned that it will ruin our floor. we had to buy a new refrigerator today-a ge model. probably should have done that to begin with.

Freezer handle broke under normal use

i do not recommend this product. the handle to the freezer detached under normal use by adults, not children or teens. the door was not abused or damaged. detached and is now hanging.

Fridge is garbage

brand new fridge sounds like a train at random times. rattles constantly. ice overfills the bucket causing it to spill to bottom of freezer where it is impossible to reach unless you take the entire freezer apart. touched a wall bringing it into the house and left a massive scratch on it.

Numerous problems with this refrigerator

i purchased this refrigerator in march of 2020. the salesman warned me that it was poor quality but i needed a fridge fast and this one was available. i wish now that i had waited. as soon as i got it home, i noticed the deli drawer was extremely flimsy. it is hard to open and close. just a few weeks after we got it, the handle on the freezer came off. luckily it was an easy fix, because it comes off about every two weeks now. the ice maker tray design is a joke. every time we open the freezer, ice gets knocked out of the bin and either back into the freezer or underneath it. haven’t figured out a way to fix this yet so we just have random ice cubes in the freezer all the time. about a month ago, the door started squeaking. i would not recommend this product.

Horrible service and longstanding quality problem

we purchased this samsung refrigerator in may 2020 because of the spectacular reviews and high value in price. however, just after using for less than 6 months, the freezer stopped working and all our frozen food got defrosted. the fridge also started to make loud noise. this is actually not by coincidence. our previous fridge which was left by the previous owner before we bought the house was also samsung. it stopped working after we moved in for 6 months and exactly the same problems. we were thinking it might be because that old fridge has been working for about 10 years, so it is still acceptable. but our new fridge is only working for 6 months and have the same problem now. will never by samsung fridge ever again!
