This is the best refrigerator that I have ever owned. I have had "higher end brands" which failed & disappointed me once I purchased them.

I bought this refrigerator some months back.Ive had it long enough to know that I am extremely happy with it. My former fridge was a big side by side with water and ice in door. It was so deep I could hardly reach the back, and couldn't reach clear to the back when cleaning the top of it! An extension was needed. I do not have other people using it, opening and closing, so no need for water/ice outside door. The ice chute on the side by side was hard to keep clean and free of dusty, mildew looking stuff in the chute. I LOVE the inset handles on the side of door of my Amana.No cleaning around a big handle! It's easy to clean, and seems to hold almost as much as the side by side because I had to set everything closer to the front on the old one just to get to it. And I can easily reach all parts to clean. After learning how to set the temp it is just right. My milk is COLD the way I like it and my veggies stay fresh in the crisper.I have an icemaker, works fine. I am very happy with my purchase and the price was great.

With all the recent power outages in California during the last couple of months, my old fridge, that came with the house 7 years ago, just couldn't make it. So, this new Amana is great. It is a little smaller than the one that quit, but it is plenty big enough for the 2 of us. And, it did great with all the Thanksgiving extras like the turkey, pies, cheese platters, etc.
